Given :

  • Cost price of 90 article = ₹2500
  • Profit% = 10%

To find :

Selling price of 1 article

Formula used :

  • Profit = SP - CP
  • Profit % = (Profit× 100)÷ CP

Procedure :

  • Firstly find Profit
  • then find SP of 90 article
  • Then find SP of 1 article

Solution :

Profit % = (Profit× 100)÷ CP

 \sf \implies \: 10 = \dfrac{ (Profit \times 100) }{2500} \\ \\ \sf \implies \: Profit = \dfrac{ ( 2500\times 10) }{100} \\ \\ \sf \implies \: Profit = 250

➠ Profit = SP of 90 article - CP of 90 article

➠ ₹250 = SP of 90 article - ₹2500

➠ SP of 90 article= ₹(2500+250)

➠ SP of 90 article = ₹2750

Therefore

➠ SP of 1 article = SP of 90 article ÷ 90

➠ SP of 1 article = (₹2750)÷90

SP of 1 article = ₹30.56

ANSWER :

SP of 1 article = ₹30.56
