Given :
- Cost price of 90 article = ₹2500
- Profit% = 10%
To find :
Selling price of 1 article
Formula used :
- Profit = SP - CP
- Profit % = (Profit× 100)÷ CP
Procedure :
- Firstly find Profit
- then find SP of 90 article
- Then find SP of 1 article
Solution :
Profit % = (Profit× 100)÷ CP
➠ Profit = SP of 90 article - CP of 90 article
➠ ₹250 = SP of 90 article - ₹2500
➠ SP of 90 article= ₹(2500+250)
➠ SP of 90 article = ₹2750
Therefore
➠ SP of 1 article = SP of 90 article ÷ 90
➠ SP of 1 article = (₹2750)÷90
➠ SP of 1 article = ₹30.56
ANSWER :
SP of 1 article = ₹30.56
