5s.p=7c.p

let's take c.p as 100

5s.p=700

s.p = 700/5

s.p = 140

thn s.p - c.p = 40 profit

Hope it helps you a lot

It is given ,

That

SP of 5 pens = CP of 7 pens

Let CP of 1 pen = x

CP of 7 pens = 7x

So ,

SP of 5 pens = CP of 7 pens

SP of 1 pen = 7x/5

So ,

SP > CP = 7x/5 > x

So ,

P = SP - CP

= 7x /5 - x

= 2x /5

So ,

P % = 2x/5 × 1/x × 100 = 40%
