A shopkeeper buys a cupboard for rupees 2700 and marks it at rupees 4000. The shopkeeper offers a discount to the customer and sells the article for rupees 3600. Find the discount percent. Also, find the profit per cent of the shopkeeper.

4000 cost for customer

3600 with discount

4000-3600=400

discount percent= 4000/400=10%

gain=3600-2700=900
