List Price 240000

Discount = x % = (x/100) 240000 = 2400x

Selling price = 240000 - 2400x

12% GST

CGST = SGST = 6 % = (6/100) (240000 - 2400x)

= 6(2400 - 24x)

= 14400 - 144x

Sold at 240000 to the cosumer

CGST = SGST = 6 % = (6/100) 240000

= 14400

GST to be paid to state government

14400 - (14400 - 144x)

= 144x

144x = 748

x = 5.194
