now, he sold 3 eggs for ₹5

therefore,gain=5-3.75=1.25

gain%=1.25*100/3.75=33.333%

he buys for rupees = 15

price of one egg = 15÷12

= 1.25

price of 3 eggs= 1.25×3

= 3.75

He sold at rupees = 5

profit= 5 - 3.7= 1.25
