Answer:

Cost price = 4950+50=5000

Selling price - cost price = Profit

5500-5000=500

Profit = 500 rs

profit\% =  \frac{profit}{cost \: price}  \times 100

 =  \frac{500}{5000}  \times 100

=10%

profit% =10%
