A shopkeeper buys an almirah for ₹ 850.The transport charges ₹ 40.He sells it at a gain of 10 per cent . What is the selling price?

 given : CP = Rs 4050

            money spend on transporatation = Rs 500

            gain = 15%

 

ATQ,

         total CP = Rs (4050 + 500)

                        = Rs 4550

now,

   If CP = Rs 100 then SP = 115

Therefore, if CP = Rs 4550 then SP = ?

so, SP = 4550 x 115

                       100

             = Rs 5232.5

so, SP of fans is Rs 5232.5
