=====================
=> Let the cost if 1 kilo tomatoes be Rs x

=> Total kilos he bought = (100x +5)

=> Total costs =x(100x+5) paise

So,.
 =  > x(100x + 5) = 60 \\  \\  =  > 100 {x}^{2}  + 5x - 60 = 0 \\  \\  =  >  20 {x}^{2}  + x - 12= 0 \\  \\  =  > 20 {x}^{2}  + 16x - 15x - 12 = 0 \\  \\  =  > 4x(5x + 4) - 3(5x  + 4) = 0 \\  \\  =  > (4x - 3)(5x + 4) = 0 \\  \\  \bf \underline{since \:  \: costs \:  \: cant \:  \: be \:  \: negative} \\  \\  =  > 4x - 3 = 0 \\  \\  =  > \bf x =  \frac{3}{4}  = 0.75

So..

Cost of 1 kilo of tomatoes =Rs 0.75
