first 10% of $6000 = 600

Then (6000-600)₹ = 5400₹

Hence the shopkeeper sells the cycle for ₹5400 during a festive season.

His profit= HE BUYS CYCLES FOR ₹5000 AND SELLS IT FOR ₹6000 = 6000-5000₹= 1000₹

SO HIS PROFIT HIS ₹1000
