Answer:

c.p=7200

transportation=120

total c.p=7200+120=7320

s.p/=9600

profit=s.p-c.p

=9600-7320=2280

profit %=profit/c.p*100

= 2280/7230*100=31.53%

There will be a profit of Rs.2280

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given that a shopkeeper buys a television for Rs. 7200

And he spends Rs.120 on the transportation

So transportation cost = Rs.120

So total cost price of television = 7200+120 = Rs.7320

It is given that he sell the television at Rs.9600

So selling price = 9600

We have to find the profit or loss

As selling price is more than the cost price so there will be profit

So profit = selling price - cost price = 9600 - 7320 = 2280

So there will be a profit of Rs.2280
