To Find : .what his profit on cp??

Solution:

Let say  Cost  price  =  C

Marked Price = M

shopkeeper cheat 16 2/3 % = 50/3 %while selling

Hence actual cost Price = C  -  (50/300)C = C - C/6  = 5C/6

Profit = 25 %

Profit =  (25/100)5C/6  = 5C/24

M =  5C/6 +  5C/24

=> M = ( 25C/24)

Cost  price  =  C

Marked Price = 25C/24

Profit on cost price when no cheat = 25C/24 - C  = C/24

Profit %  = (C/24C) * 100  = 25/6 %  = 4.167 %
