A shopkeeper earns a profit of₹ 3 per pen sold and a loss of ₹1 per pencil sold.

Profit per pen = rs3

Loss per pencil=rs1

If he sells 52 pen

52 x 3 = profit

156 = profit

If he sells 23 pencil

23 x 1 = loss

23 = loss

Therefore profit is more than loss
