Answer:

Profit earned by selling 1 parle g = Re 3

Profit earned by 45 parle g = Rs. 45, which we denote by + Rs. 45

Total loss given = Rs. 2, which we denote by Rs -2.

Profit earned + Loss incurred = Total Loss

Therefore, loss incurred = Total Loss - Profit earned.

= Rs. (-2-45)

=Rs. (-47)= -4700 paise

Loss incurred by selling one cadbury chocolate = 200paise, which we write as -200paise.

So, number of cadbury chocolate sold = (−4700)÷(−200)=23cadbury chocolate .
