Answer:

52 notebook

Step-by-step explanation:

Profit on one notebook=5rupees

Loss on one old pen =1 rupees

Total profit in one month= 185 rupees

Pen Solded=75

Notebook Solded=?

Loss on One Pen=1 rupees

Loss on 75Pens= 75×(-1)

=(-75)

Now,

Total Profit in one month= 185 rupees

Total Loss in one month= 75 rupees

Total Earning= 185+75rupees

= 260 rupees

so, his total earning =260 rupees

(If he earn 5 rupees by selling one notebook then how much noteboom he will sell to earn 260 rupees and for this,)

Notebook Sold= 260 rupees÷5

=52

therefore,he sold 52 notebook

( And this is the right way as my teacher told this because the question was in my previous year maths book [Wow Maths 7, Exercise 1.1, Q-10])
