Step-by-step explanation:

no. of pencils sold =35

profit per pencil = 1

Total profit from pencils = 35x1 = 35

loss per eraser = 0.25 rupee

no. of erasers sold on this day = 35/0.25

=140 erasers

2ND PART

profit = 25

no. of erasers sold =. 100

total loss in erasers = 100x0.25=25

profit by pencils must be 50 to make total profit 25 because there is a loss in erasers

profit in each pencil = 1

no . of pencils sold = 25

Thanks hope it helps
