a) He sold 25 pencil boxes. so total profit over pencil boxes=25*10=250/-
But net loss=50/-
Means loss amount=300/-
It is due to pen. On selling one pen loss=5/-.
So for loss of 300/- he would sell 300/5=60 nos.
b) He sold 50 pencil boxes. So profit would be=10*50=500/- And this is also the loss amount due to selling of pens.
No of pens he sold=500/5=100.
