a shopkeeper earns a profit of rs5 on selling one pizza and suffers a loss of rs2 on selling one burger .In a particular month he sold 400 pizzas and 125 burgers. What is his profit or loss? How many pizzas he must sell to have neither profit nor loss if the number of burgers sold is 250​

  • profit in selling 1 pizza= rs 5
  • profit on selling 400 pizza=rs400 ×5=2000
  • loss on selling 1 burger= rs2
  • loss on selling 125 burger=125×2= rs250
  • total profit =2000-250=1750
  • 2. loss on selling 250 burgers =250×2=rs500
  • for recovering the loss
  • profit on 1 pizza=rs 5
  • no. of pizza sold to recover profit =500÷5=100 pizza
