Answer:

here is ur ans

Step-by-step explanation:

profit earned by A shopkeeper by selling a pencil = rs 1

loss of the shopkeeper by selling an eraser = 20 paise

1) in a given day total loss earned = 10 rs

loss by selling an eraser= 20 paise

As rs 1=100 paise

so rs 10= 1000 paise

So eraser sold = 1000/20=50 erasers

2) loss earned by selling of eraser= 20 paise

that day he sold 100 erasers

so loss = 20x100=2000 paise

or rs 20

according to question , he earned a profit of rupees 25

as already on loss of 25 so in order to gain a profit of 25 rupees he had to gain a profit of rupees 45

as we know that profit on by the shopkeeper by selling a pencil = 1 rupees

so he had to sell 45 pencils

therefore that day he sold 45 pencils
