Profit per pen =Rs1= 100 p

Loss per pencil=40 p

Pens sold = 45

Profit by selling pens = 45Rs=450p

Total loss=5Rs=500 p

Pencils sold=(450 + 500)/40

BUT THE ANSWER IS 23.75
