a loss of Rupees 1 by
selling an old pen. in a particular
month the shopkeeper earnes a profit
of 185. If he sold 75 pens find
the number of the notebook

shopkeeper earns profit of ₹185 only on notebooks.

because there is no profit on pen .

so ,profit on one notebook = ₹4

notebooks worth ₹185 profit = 185 ÷ 4

= 46 notebooks ans
