a shopkeeper gets a 25⅓ percent loss by selling a calculator for 1000 rupees.if he sells the calculator for 1200 rupees then how much profit or loss will the shopkeeper make ?​

  • Let the sp of the calculator be 'x'
  • SP of the 1st calculator = 66

x+25/1000x = 66

11x/6 = 66

x = 66

So, sp = 60 rupees

total cp= 60×2=120

total sp= 120+15% of 120

= 120+15/100 × 120

= 120+18

= 138

SP-CP = 138-120

= 18

so second calculator should be sold at profit of (18-6)=12

so SP= 12 at 12

= 132
