The cost of each chocolate is Re 1.

For Rs 75 he can purchase 75 chocolates.

So now he has 75 wrappers.

for 3 wrappers he gets 1 chocolate.

So for 75 wrappers he gets 65/3 = 25 chocolates.

Now he has 25 wrappers.

He can exchange 24 wrappers for 24/3 =8 chocolates & 1 wrapper is still with him.

After eating 8 chocolates he has 8 + 1 = 9 wrappers.

He exchanges these 9 wrappers for 9/3 = 3 chocolates.

Again he has 3 wrappers so he gets 1 more chocolate.

Total chocolates he can get

= 75 + 25 + 8 + 3 + 1

= 112 chocolates.

As the answer was given i have used 3 wrappers for exchange of 1 chocolate.

hukam0685: question does not say that,in place of 3 wrapper
zagreb: I took 2, 3 & 4 wrappers for exchange for a chocolate. I landed up with 112 chocolates with 3 wrappers for exchange.
hukam0685: ok
