Find the fixed charges and the charge for each extra day.

Latika kept for 6 days =rs 22

fixed charge for 2 days +additional charge for 4 days =rs 22

therefore x +4y =22 ...( 1)

Anand kept for 4 days =rs 16

fixed charge for 2 days +additional charge for 2 days =rs 16

therefore x+2y=16 ....(2)
