Let first discount is x then ATQ,

First Discount = 20 %   if in succesive discount 2nd discount = 25% and 180 Rs remains 108

Step-by-step explanation:

Marked Price = Rs 180

Let say First Discount %  = X

Then Discount = (X/100) * 180  = 1.8X   Rs

Amount remaining after Discount = 180 - 1.8X  Rs

Further Discount = 25 %

Discount = (25/100) (180 - 1.8X)  =  45 - 0.45X   Rs

Amount remained after Discount = 180 - 1.8X - ( 45 - 0.45X)

= 135 - 1.35X

135 - 1.35 X  = 108

=> 1.35X = 27

=> X = 20

First Discount = 20 %
