The total money collected is Rs.1,650.

Given:

The price of 1/7th sugar=₹ 21 per kg

The price of 3/7th sugar=₹35 per kg

The price of the remaining sugar=₹ 35 per kg

Amount of sugar=50kg

To find:

The total money collected

Solution:

The total money earned can be calculated by obtaining the amount earned by selling 1/7th, 3/7th and the remaining sugar.

The amount of 1/7th sugar=1/7 of 50 kg=50/7 kg

The amount of 3/7th sugar=3/7 of 50 kg=150/7 kg

The remaining sugar=(1-1/7-3/7)=(1-4/7)=3/7th sugar

=3/7 of 50 kg=150/7 kg

Now, the total amount earned=quantity of sugar×price

=(50/7×21)+(150/7×35)+(150/7×35)

=(50×3)+(150×5)+(150×5)

=150+750+750

=Rs.1,650

Therefore, the total money collected is Rs.1,650.
