A shopkeeper has enough money to buy 40 books, each costing₹125 how many
books he can buy if he gets a discount of ₹25 on each book? Please solve it in directly or inversly method​

Answer:

Given :-

¤ The shopkeeper has enough money to

buy 40 books each costing rupees 125.

To find :-

¤ How many books he could buy at the

discount of 25 rupees

Solution :-

Cost of books = 125×40

= 5,000

Cost of per book with discount = 125-25

= 100

No.of books with discount

= Cost of books without

discount / Cost of 1 book

with discount

= 5,000 / 100

= 50 books

Conclusion :-

Hence the shopkeeper

can buy 50 books with

discount price
