Find the amount of money the shopkeeper has:

40 x 125 = Rs 5000

Find the cost of a book after discount:

Price after discount = 125 - 25 = Rs 100

Find the number of books the shopkeeper can buy now:

Number of books = 5000 ÷ 100 = 50 books

Answer: He can buy 50 books
