The worth of each cycle =Rs.220

the no. of bicycles that shopkeeper can buy = 42

therefore , the total amount he had = 220×42=9,240

After the increase in the worth of cycle,

The worth of each cycle = Rs.220+rs.400=RS.620

The total amount he had = 9,240

So, the total no. of cycles he has to buy =9,240÷620=14

he can buy 14 bicycles....
