a shopkeeper has just enough money to buy 50 chairs worth rs 540 each. if each chair were to cost rs 10 more, then how many chairs would he be able to buy with that amount of money?

no.of chair to buy =50 chair
each chair worth =540 rupees
cost of chair =540×50=27,000 rupees
if each chair were cost more 10 RS

then 50×10=500 rupees
therefore 27,000-500
=26,500
therefore no of chair =26,000/540
=49.07
approximately 49 chair able to buy with this amount of money
