A shopkeeper has just enough money to buy 52 cycles worth rupees 525 each. If each cycle were to cost rupees 21 more then how many cycles would he be able to buy with the same amount of money?

Answer:

cp of one cycle =525 rs

cp of 52 cycle= 52*525 = rs. 27300

if each cycle cost 21 rs more,

then cp of on cycle = 525+21=rs 546

then, no. of cycle he will be able to buy = 27300/546= 50 cycles

thus, the shopkeeper can buy 50 cycles with the same amount of money.
