55000 Rs price paid by consumer

Step-by-step explanation:

A shopkeeper in Rajasthan buys an article at the printed price of 40000 from a Wholesaler in Delhi

GST = 10 %

IGST = (10/100) 40000 = Rs 4000

Receive by central Government by Delhi = Rs 4000

Price inclusive of GST = 40000 + 4000 = 44000 Rs

25 % profit = (25/100)40000 = Rs 10000

Price including profit = 40000 + 10000 = Rs 50000

5% SGST = 5 % CGST = (5/100)50000 = 2500 Rs

Price Paid by consumer = 50000 + 2500 + 2500 = 55000 Rs

the amount of tax (under GST) paid by the shopkeeper to Government.

= 5000 - 4000 = 1000 Rs

the amount of tax (under GST) received by the Central Government.

= 4000 ( IGST)  + 500 ( CGST)

= 4500 Rs
