Step-by-step explanation:
Here's ur answer:-
Let the CP be x
P% = 25 % ( so r = 25)
=> SP = x ( 1 + 25/100)
=> SP = x × 5/4
=> SP = 5x/4
So,
which is :-
mp = SP/(4/5) = (5x/4)/4/5 = 25x/16
Let that MP is y % above CP
=> MP = CP + y% of CP
=>MP = CP ( 1+ y/100)
=> MP/CP = 1+ y/100
=> (25x/16)/x = 1 + y/100
=> 25/16 = 1+ y/100
=> 1+ y/100 = 25/16
=>y/100 = 25/16 -1 = (25-16)/16 = 9/16
=> y = 9/16 × 100 = 225/16 % =14 whole 1/16 %
