Let the cost price be 100/-

Then the marked price(MP) = 100 + 20 = 120/-

 \boxed{\sf{Discount  \: percentage \:  on  \: marked  \: price = 15\%}}

 \sf{Discount =  \dfrac{15}{100}  \times 120 = 18 \: rupees.}

 {\underline{\boxed{\sf{SP = MP - Discount}}}}

So,

 \sf{120-8=102/-}

 {\underline{\boxed{ \sf{Gain =SP-CP}}}}

So then,

 =  \sf{102 - 100 = 2 \: rupees }

 \sf{Gain \: \% =  \dfrac{2}{100}  = 2\%}

Thus, The shopkeeper gains 2% after discount.
