A shopkeeper marks his goods at such a price that would give him a profit of 10% of relying on a discount of 12% if an article is marked to 20 2250 find SP and CP​

Given

MRP=2250

After allowing 12% Sp

Sp= mrp x(100-discount) /100

Sp= 2250 x(100-12)/100

Sp= 2250 x 88 /100=1980

Sp=₹1980 (first answer )

He also earn 10% profit, so

Cp =sp x 100/(100+profit %)

Cp = 1980 x 100/110

Cp = ₹1800 (2nd ans )
