After the case study of the question-

Let the c.p. be Rs. 100.

Therefore, after the discount the s.p. is Rs. 126.

Therefore, according to the formula=

s.p.=(100+P%)/100×c.p.

s.p.=110/100×126

(here,the c.p. is considered as Rs. 126 because he gained 26%profit after the s.p.)

s.p.=11/10×126

s.p.=11/5×63

s.p.=(11×63)/5

s.p.=693/5

s.p.=Rs.138.6

The marked price =Rs.138.6

P%=38.6/100×100

P%=38.6%
