cost price be x
cost price ×122/ 100 = $200
122X = 200×100
x= 20000/122= $163.93

Anonymous: then 200$ = 122/100 of x
Anonymous: then x = 200 × 100/122
Anonymous: or x = 20000/122
Anonymous: or x = 163.9344
zee95: How 122/100

It should be 22/100 na
Anonymous: no as it's being added then as a complete x is also written as 100/100 of x
Anonymous: then by adding 22% it equal to = 22/100 of x + 100/100 of x
Anonymous: = 122/100 of x
