Let the S.P be x .

Firstly :

Offer of discount of 10 % makes the S.P :

x - 10/100 × x

= > x - x/10

= > ( 10 x - x ) / 10

= > 9 x/10

Again 20 % discount makes it :

9 x / 10 - 9 x / 10 × 20/100

= > 9 x / 10 - 9 x / 50

= > ( 45 x - 9 x ) / 50

= > 36 x / 50

= > 18 x / 25

Hence if x is M.P : S.P = 18 x / 25

M.P = 1000

S.P = 18 x / 25

= 18 × 1000/25

= 18 × 40

= 720

ANSWER

Rs 720

M.P = 2500

S.P = 18 x / 25

= 18 × 2500/25

= 18 × 100
