Marked Price = Rs 1120

Find the price after discount:

Discount = 10% of 1120

Discount = 0.1 x 1120 = Rs 112

Price after discount = Rs 1120 - 112 = Rs 1008

Find the cost price:

Selling Price = Cost Price + Profit

Selling Price = 100 + 26 = 126%

126% = Rs 1008

1% = 1008 ÷ 126 = Rs 8

100% = 8 x 100 = Rs 800

Answer: The cost price is Rs 800

Hey there!!

➡ Given :-

→ Marked price = ₹ 1120 .

→ Profit = 26% .

→ Discount = 10% .

➡ To find :-

→ SP .

➡ Solution :-

We have,

Marked price = ₹1120.

then, Discount = 10% of 1120.

=> discount = 10/100 × 1120 .

=> discount = 0.1 × 1120 .

•°• discount = ₹ 112.

Then, total price after cutting the discount

= ₹ 1120 - ₹ 112.

= ₹ 1008.

We know that,

°•° SP = CP + P.

=> SP = 100 + 26.

•°• SP = 126 % .

→ So, 126% = ₹ 1008 .

Then, 1% = 1008/126 .

=> 1% = ₹ 8.

Then, 100% = 8 × 100 .

= ₹800.

✔✔ Hence, the cost price is ₹800 ✅✅
