Given :

Marked price of an article = Rs 600

Discount = 12%

Find the Selling price of an article :-

S.P = M.P - discount % of M.P

= 600 - 12% of 600

= 600 - 0.12 × 600

= 600 - 72

= 528

Find the cost price of an article at the profit of 20% :-

C.P = (S.P × 100)/(100 + Profit)

= (528 × 100)/(100 + 20)

= 52800/120

= 440

Hence,

The actual cost of an article = Rs 440

Answer:

Mark me as brainliest or at least give a thanks dude(or dudent) it is free

Step-by-step explanation:

S.P. = M.P. - discount of M.P.

=600 - 12% of 600

=600 - 0.12 × 600

=600 - 72

=528

Find the C.P. of an article at the profit of 20%

C.P. = (S.P.×100)/(S.P. + profit)

=(528×100)/(100+20)

=52800/120

=440

hence,the actual cost of an article=440

hope it helps....
