A shopkeeper offers 5% discount on all is goods to all his customers.He offers a further 2% discount on the reduced price to the customer whi pay cash. What will you actually have to pay for an article in cash if its MP is Rs 480?

Given,
MRP= 480
previous discount =5%
I.e. 480 * 5/100= 24
480-24= 456

Furthur discount=2%
I.e. 456*2/100=9.24
456 - 9.24= 446.76

So the amount payable is 446.76
