A shopkeeper purchased 10 dozen pencil at rupees 20 a dozen .He sold all the pencils at rupees 2 per piece find his total profit percent​

Answer:

10dzn=120 piece

200 price (10dzn)

120×2=240

profit %= profit×100/c.p

=40×100/200

=20%

Answer:

CP of 1 dozen pencil = 20

CP of 10 dozen pencil= 10×20 =200

SP of 1 pencil= 2

SP of 1 dozen= 2×12=24

SP of 10 dozen = 24×10= 240

Profit=SP-CP

=240-200

=40

Profit percentage=Profit÷CP×100

=40÷200×100

=20%
