✬ Loss % = 6 ✬

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

CP of first refrigerator is Rs 9800.

CP of second refrigerator is Rs 8200.

S.p of both refrigerator is Rs 16920.

To Find:

What is the loss percent ?

Solution: Cost price of both refrigerators is

➟ CP¹ + CP²

➟ Rs (9800 + 8200)

➟ Rs 18000

Here CP of both refrigerators is Rs 18000 and S.P of both refrigerators is Rs 16920.

On comparing both C.P and S.P

S.P < C.P { there is loss }

As we know that

★ Loss = C. P – S.P ★

Loss = Rs 18000 – 16920

Loss = Rs 1080

★ Loss % = Loss/C.P  100 ★

Loss% = (1080/18000)100

Loss% = (108000/18000)

Loss% = 6%

Hence, his loss percent is 6%

Answer:

Answer is 6% Total C.P. = 9800 + 8200 = Rs 18000

S.P. = Rs 16920

∴ Loss = Rs 18000 – Rs 16920 = Rs 1080

∴ Loss % = 108018000 x 100% = 6%.
