Answer:

✬ Loss % = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

CP of first refrigerator is Rs 9800. CP of second refrigerator is Rs 8200. Sp of both refrigerator is Rs 16920.

To Find: What is the loss percent ?

Solution:

Cost price of both refrigerators is ➟ CP¹ + CP²

➟ Rs (9800 + 8200)

➟ Rs 18000

Here CP of both refrigerators is Rs 18000 and S.P of both refrigerators is Rs 16920.

On comparing both C.P and S.P

S.P < C.P {there is loss}

As we know that

★ Loss = C. P – S.P

★ Loss = Rs 18000 – 16920

★ Loss = Rs 1080

★ Loss % = Loss/C.P  100

★ Loss% = (1080/18000)100 Loss% = (108000/18000) Loss% = 6%

Hence, his loss percent is 6%
