cp of 200 bulbs = 200×10 = 2000

no. of fused bulbs =5

no.of unfused bulbs = 195

sp of 195 bulbs = 195×12 = 2340

there is gain of rs. 340

gain % = (gain /cp )×100 = (340/2000)×100 = 17%

Answer:-

Cost \:  price \:  of  \: 200 \: bulbs\\  = 200 \times 10 = 2000

5 \: bulbs \: were \: fused \: .hence \: ..number \: of \\\: bulbs \: left = 200 - 5 = 195

(These  \: were \:  sold \:  at  \: 12  \: rupees  \: each)

The SP of 198 bulbs =195×12=2340

He obviously made a profit(as SP>CP)

Profit =2340-2000=340

On 2000,the profit is 340,

 =  \frac{340}{2000}  \times 100\% = 17\%
