A shopkeeper purchased 200 bulbs for rupees 10 each however 5 bulbs perfused and had to be thrown away the remaining were sold at rupees 12 each find the gain or loss percentage how to find out this

CP = 200×10 = 2000
bulbs thrown = 5
Now, no. of bulbs = 200-5 = 195
SP = 195×12 = 2340
gain = SP-CP
=340
Gain % = gain /cp X 100
= 340/2000 × 100
= 17 % .
