Find the number of apples purchased:

Total = 5 dozen = 5 x 12 = 60

Cost price of 60 apples = Rs 700 (Given)

Find the selling price of 60 apples:

1 apple = Rs 14 (Given)

Selling Price = 60 x 14 = Rs 840

Find the profit/loss:

Since the selling price > cost price => it is a profit

Profit = 840 - 700 = Rs 140

Find the profit percentage:

Profit percentage = profit/cost price x 100

Profit percentage = 140/700 x 100 = 20%

Answer: The deal has a profit of 20%
