A shopkeeper purchased 6 dozen oranges for Rs 35 per dozen .9 of them were spoilt and thrown away.At what price per oranges should be sold the remaining oranges should be sold so that he gets a profit of 5%​

Cost price of oranges per dozen=35

Total quantity of oranges bought=6 dozens=6×12=72

Total cost price paid=35×6=210

Profit% to be added=5%

Selling price of oranges=210+210×5%=220.5

Hence, remaining oranges= 72-9= 63

Now,

Selling Price per orange= (220.5/63)= 3.5
