Cost: Rs 4650

Selling price: Rs 5115

To find the profit, find the difference between the cost and selling price.

Rs 5115 - Rs 4650 = Rs 465

Now, calculate the percentage with the multiplication of the profit (over cost) with 100%.

Rs 465/Rs 4650 × 100% = 10%

Therefore, the profit percentage is 10%.

PADMINI: profit should be 10% . not 0.1 %
MelissaTan: Whoops!
MelissaTan: I have made an edit, thanks for pointing it out!
PADMINI: yup. welcome.

hello

cost price = 4650

selling price = 5115

selling price is more so it's profit

profit = sp - cp

5115 - 4650 = 465

profit Percentage = profit / cp x 100

= 465 /4650 x 100 = 10%

hence profit Percentage = 10% .

hope it helps you
