Given :

A shopkeeper purchased bananas at rupees 18 per dozen and sold 10 bananas at the rate of rupees 18

To Find :

find the gain or loss percent

Solution:

Cost price of 1 dozen bananas = Rs.18

Cost price of 12 bananas = 18

Cost of 1 banana = \frac{18}{12}=1.5

SP of 10 bananas = 18

SP of 1 Banana = \frac{18}{10}=1.8

SP>CP

So, Profit

Profit\% = \frac{SP-CP}{CP}|times 100\\Profit\% = \frac{1.8-1.5}{1.5} \times 100\\Profit\%=20\%

Hence The gain% is 20%
