A shopkeeper sells a refrigerator for rs22000.00 and makes a profit of 10%. if he desires profit of 18%.what should be his selling price?​

Answer:

The shopkeeper sells a refrigerator = ₹ 22000

profit = 10 %

=> cost price + profit = selling price

=> cost price + 10% = ₹ 22000

=> CP = 22000

110% 10+100

therefore, CP =2000

To get profit at the rate of 18% = 200 × 18%

= 3600

The shopkeeper has to sell the refrigerator at ₹ 23600
